CLAN GATHERINGS
Every full moon there is a gathering where the four Clans gather in one sacred location. Here its the Elderoak. The whole Clan doesn't go, but the select few that the Clan leader chooses to come. The Gathering is a sacred tradition amongst the Clans, its a one night thing of a truce, the Clans are not to fight when the truce is in play. When they do or threaten to StarClan will cover the full moon to end it. This is the time where the Clans can chat with cats in the other Clans, make friends, socialize but make sure not to give away anything to the other Clans that they can use to threaten your Clan. On the Elderoak the Clan leaders would do their reports of their Clans. The Clan leaders would tell the other Clans on anything new, like new apprentices, new warriors, medicine cats, deputies or even a new Clan leader. If nothing new or nothing important or necessary to tell the Clan leader can simply say the Clan is doing well and hunting is good or what not and let the other Clan leader go. Anything that is important to say, like your Clan's patrol drove off a fox or a badger and went on other Clan's territory you say so to warn them. After the Clan leaders have finished, the Gathering is over and will return back to their camp.
MEDICINE CAT GATHERINGS
Medicine cat gatherings are a bit different than Clan gatherings. For one its ten times smaller, only medicine cats meet up together and head to Ancient Ruins. So no, deputy, other Clan cats or Clan leaders. Just the medicine cats and their apprentices. They all can talk and everything together. Medicine cats cannot have kits and have different codes than the rest of the Clans, they still follow the warrior code, a bit. They just have separate paths than that of their Clanmates. Once they reach Ancient Ruins they enter the Mooncave and sleep there for one night to speak with StarClan. StarClan will always speak to the medicine cats and it doesn't always have to be dire or anything bad either. This happens every half moon.
