ThunderClan uses the area surrounding an old elder tree with a flattish clearing and soft grass as their training grounds. Here mentors can train their apprentices and get them to better their climbing skills by climbing the oak so they can travel through the territory easily. The mentors warn the apprentices not to climb too high for fear of them falling. The Elder Tree is also the highest part of the territory so if you climb high enough you can see most of the forest. It is also a good hunting ground.
