At first he had thought of just going to a place and exploring but, then he knew that Benji was going to be angry with him because he didn’t look around the entire city, which was a good idea. So, that was where he was going to start, looking at all the places in the city before choosing just one of them to look at. This was smart on his part for he could have the choice of going anywhere after this little adventure, as well it would make him feel a lot safer for this was a new environment and all, nothing like Cascaro. It was bigger, wider so there were lots of places to explore and that could turn into a bad thing if you got lost and ended up on clan or pack territory. For those were off limits to canines like him who didn’t belong in any pack at all, but today wasn’t it. After just looking around amusingly at how big it was he decided it was time to start his journey, get on his way of exploring so that he could do other things that were funnier than just walking about learning about the city. Sure, it was a good thing but, it wasn’t much fun as you only got to see things from the outside and not explore them on the inside, as that would take too much time. “You better get moving my love or we won’t get to go anywhere on your first day and you don’t want that now do you? I certainly want you to have fun for that is what strays are supposed to do. So, the longer you sit here just staring into space the more time you are wasting” Benji said, as he stared up at the light blue sky with very few clouds about it, which meant that it was going to be a nice day. He let what Benji said seep into his mind, as he began to move forward his paws and went into a jog. His head went to the side so that he could see places as he passed by them and there was so many that he seemed to lose count of them all but, they all were unique in their own ways. He could tell that just by looking at them once and from just going a little ways into the city he had decided on a few places that he would try to visit but, he hoped that none of them were pack lands. As they had been too beautiful to pass up but, if they were then he wouldn’t go there. “Look over there Fin! It’s a mall now that is something we have never seen in all the cities that you have been to in your life. Maybe, when we are done here that would be the perfect place to start. What do you think about that? It for sure is something that is different and isn’t that what you are supposed to experience in new worlds, new things? “ Benji said to him, as he nodded in a rapid pace not wanting to hear him speak again for he was just exploring there was no need for him to be talking about things at the moment. He was focused for once in his life, which didn’t seem to happen very often but, he wanted to get this part done as soon as he could, as the sun was beginning to get higher in the sky, which, meant the world was about to heat up to. “I need to finish this part before the world gets too hot as it isn’t good for canines to be out in heat for long periods of time. So, I’m sorry if this sounds mean to you Benji but, I need you to stop talking to me so I can focus on the end goal. After that you are allowed as we will be going to a place then you are allowed to help but, not now please” He said in his mind to Benji, as he continued along, seeing so much beauty, more than he had ever seen in his life. Now that he had finished what he had needed to do it was time for him to find a place to lay his head down, a sanctuary, as it had been a long first part of the day so he deserved it. He lowered to his rump, waiting for Benji to speak before he went on but, when he didn’t that is when he knew he had to give him the cue to speak. “You are allowed to help me now Benji, as we are done exploring the world. So, where do you think we should go? I had seen a couple places along the way but, I don’t even remember where they are so you are going to have to help me find the perfect adventure. It is your job so I think that you will pull through like you have done so many other times for me. We’re the perfect team!” He finished talking to Benji, as a smile went across his face. This was when Benji began to give him tons of ideas of what was around the city and he would have to choose just one, which seemed to harder than he had thought. The lake house that Benji had described seemed like an interesting place to start but, he needed Benji’s help on where to find it. As he jogged about, looking around to see if he was there yet but, he wasn’t. “You’ll get there soon don’t worry I will get you there in no time” Benji was right about that but, when would they get there would be the question that he wanted to ask. That is when he noticed a big house off in the distance. This must be it as I don’t see anything like it around here. "Look there is the lake in front. We have found it!”The thought disappeared very quickly as he began to jog toward it, getting there in no time, as it was only a few feet away from where he was but, it felt like it had taken him forever to get there. There the lake house was right in front of his face and now he had to make a decision whether he would actually enter or not, for he felt like the time went by too fast. “I wonder if there will be canines in there and I hope not but, there’s bound to be some.” He thought, as he stood at the entrance of the place ever so still that he looked like a statue. He would enter the place because he had wanted to come here and it had been the first place on his mind to visit. Plus, he had taken the time to come here so there was no harm in exploring it at least for a little while and if he didn’t like it he could leave. He began to move his paws from under him, as he entered ever so carefully watching his step. He walked up the path and into the house where there was all sorts of different items that you would find in a house. As well, it was huge where you could go anywhere and easily get lost. So, that is why he had decided to stay on the main level of the place for now, explore that before going to see the rest of it all. Right next to the entrance of the house was the living room where there were couches upon couches and other furnishings. “I think I will start over there as it seems like a safe place to be.” As the thought faded is when he heard a noise and he smelt something as well but, he wasn’t quite sure what it was. So, he just stayed still in the living room, waiting for the figure to make another noise but, he knew that he was no longer alone like he had been minutes before. “Hello, who is there? You know that I can hear you and I would appreciate it if you showed yourself to me.” He said out into the silence, as he waited for the figure to appear knowing that he had no intentions of hurting anyone. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I feel so free I'm alive I'm breaking out Won't give in, cause I'm proud of all my scars
Two weeks passed after Thor has left Cascaro. He just couldn't stay in Fahim Pack. Thor couldn't exactly say why, he just couldn't. Maybe it was because he thought that Dinah wouldn't feel about him the way he felt about her. It could also be the major conflicts in Cascaro and the fact he couldn't fit in with the pack and the headquarters reminding him so much about his first home.
Thor padded down the streets of Haliton City. It was bigger than Cascaro and seemed to have packs living here like Cascaro. Only it wasn't close to the ocean, just a lake, mountains and forests. He is a black norwegian elkhound, medium-small in size and has a curled bushy tail lying on his back neatly. He looked up at the sky and noticed the sun setting. His optics narrowed and his heart quickened at the thought of being out in the streets after dark.
His double coated fur bristled at the thought. He quickened his pace and searched for a suitable place to sleep. Thor kept sniffing the air to make sure he didn't end up trespassing into a dog's territory. The norwegian came to the lake and noticed how large it was. All around there were docks and warehouses. However, most of them already had dogs in them that weren't too friendly with him and others were part of a pack's territory. Those that were left looked to spooky to go in. Thor growled at himself for not being able to get over his phobia. In fact its as strong as ever.
Thor padded down along the lake to the south and finally came across a lake house up a slope. He stared at it, it looked like one of the places his family owned. They sometimes go to a house like this near a lake to have family away from work. The thought of being at a lake house soothed his anxiety. He looked at the sun again and noticed that it has nearly finished setting. "Well, it seems the sun has decided for me," Thor muttered. No way is he going to be out here in the dark. He padded up the slope, following the paths and came across the bottom doors below the deck. He looked through the windows and by the looks of the floor it was the basement slash game room with all kinds of game tables humans used to play. He backed up, deciding not to enter the basement. It was as scary as the attic.
He left the porch and traveled to the side of the house till he came across the steps on the deck. It is a fairly large deck with all sorts of things humans would put on the deck. He looked to the house and noticed it had a lot of windows. He managed to look inside one of the rooms and noticed it was the kitchen. The door of the deck was a slide window door. Oh joy! He has a knack for opening doors but slide doors are the toughest. Thor swat at the edge of the door to where he thought it would be the place to open considering the handle inside. He used his claws to dig in and get a grip so he could move it back. It opened slightly and he used his muzzle to open the rest of it. He entered the kitchen, the marble plate flooring clattered with his claws in each step he took. Thor didn't think it would matter till... "Hello, who is there? You know that I can hear you and I would appreciate it if you showed yourself to me." He dog barked.
Thor flinched and thought he may have entered a dog's territory. He sniffed the air but only detected a single dog's scent that wasn't all over the place. It means that this place wasn't taken by any dog. Hopefully this dog isn't like the others. However, unlike at the warehouses he won't leave, not when its so dark now. He padded over to the voice and came to a male husky. "No one is hiding, I just got here," Thor answered honestly in a polite gentleman manner. "I am called Thor by the way. Yours?" he asked.
